What is an alkaline diet?
An alkaline diet is a diet that emphasizes, to a varying degree, fresh fruit, vegetables, roots, nuts, and legumes. It does not completely replace other foods, but switches the balance to 80/20 alkaline foods to the Western diet stuff.
